Students enrolled on campus at Texas Southern during a semester pay the Campus Recreation Fee and are automatically members of Campus Recreation; they receive full benefits by presenting their ID when entering the Student Recreation Center. Students not enrolled in a summer session are required to purchase a SRC membership for that session.
Faculty and Staff
The Recreation and Wellness Center provides TSU Faculty/Staff members the opportunity to take advantage of the Recreation and Wellness Center's health and wellness services. Faculty/Staff Members have an option to pay by semester or annual. This payment can be taken at the Front Desk, or through completing a Payroll Deduction form.
All TSU Alumni are offered user access of the Recreation and Wellness Center. Alumni Members have an option to pay by semester or annual. Alumni Members Graduation Confers will be verified through the University Alumni Association. Proof of graduation is required if status cannot be verified. A valid ID must be presented when applying for membership. All payments can be taken at the Front Desk. Payments of Cash, Check or Money Order are accepted, at this time.
The Recreation and Wellness Center reaches out to the TSU Community, and offers a Community Membership. Community Members have an option to pay by semester or annual. Community Memberships are intended for individuals and family not affiliated with the University and allows full access to the Recreation facility. This payment can be taken at the Front Desk. Payments of Cash, Check or Money Order are accepted, at this time.
The Recreation and Wellness Center has developed a Senior Membership that is crafted to meet certain requirements of Senior Citizen Members. These developments have influenced many health and wellness programs. Senior Memberships can be purchased by semester or annual. Payment forms include Cash, Check, or Money Order.

With our newly established Specialty packages our members have an option to pay one flat fee for additional amenities as previously mentioned. Members have an option to pay by semester or annual. Payment forms include Cash, Check, or Money Order.

Each guest that enters the Student Recreation Center must have a current member with them to be their sponsor for the day. Daily guest fees are $5 for patrons 16+ years old. All guests must fill out a liability waiver before access is allowed. All guests are allowed (3) passes before a membership is required to purchase.
Effective Spring 2014 all new Memberships may be purchased only two different ways, semesterly or annually. Semester memberships cover only one academic semester: Fall, Spring, full Summer, or each Summer session. Each semester a student is enrolled, there is a $50 recreation fee. Summer fees vary on enrollment status. Annual memberships run for a full calendar year. Regardless of when an individual purchases a membership renewal, it does not go into effect until the previous membership has expired.
All Membership fees are not pro-rated or refundable. All current faculty/staff members utilizing payroll deduction will not be affected until the end of the year.
