Blackboard Mobile Learn takes interactive teaching and learning mobile, giving students and educators access to their courses and content on a variety of devices including iPhone, iPodtouch, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, and Palmsmartphones. Students and instructors can access documents in multiple formats, post announcements, check grades, create discussion threads and posts, upload media as attachments to discussion boards and blogs, create content items within the course map, and comment on blogs and journals - all from the mobile devices they love. Respondus (includes Respondus Test Bank Network)

Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly to Blackboard. You can convert pre-existing Microsoft Word exams into an online format with minimal work or build them directly in Respondus.  Click here for instructions to install Respondus.

Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus Lockdown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. With Respondus LockDown Browser students are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. They are locked into the assessment until they submit for grading. StudyMate

StudyMate Author
StudyMate Author lets you create Flash-based activities and games using simple templates to assist students self-study course material. StudyMate Author will import items from Microsoft Word files and test banks, making it easy to create interesting, interactive activities from existing content. StudyMate Class
StudyMate Class is available as a building block in Blackboard. It allows instructors or students to create learning activities and games, such as flash cards, crossword puzzles and self-quizzes. Students choose activities that appeal to their learning style, engaging them with course content in a powerful, individualized way. StudyMate LMS Edition
StudyMate LMS Edition is the companion app for StudyMate Class. It syncs with Blackboard then locates all courses that have StudyMate Class projects and downloads the data for each project. StudyMate LMS Edition lets students study offline using ten of the same activities available in the web version of StudyMate Class, including Fact Cards, Fact Cards+, Flash Cards, Fill in the Blank, Pick a Letter, Matching, Glossary, Quiz, Challenge, and Show All. Wimba

Wimba Classroom
Wimba Classroom is a live, virtual classroom environment integrated with Blackboard with robust features that includes audio, video, application sharing and content display. Its pedagogical design and ease-of-use ensures that educators and students engage as if they were meeting face-to-face. Advanced features such as polling, whiteboarding, presenter on-the-fly, resizable chat areas and participant lists, usage analytics tools, and now both MP3 and MP4 downloads enable further dynamic interaction between students and educators. Wimba Voice
Wimba Voice is a web- based voice solution, also integrated with Blackboard, that facilitates and promotes vocal instruction, collaboration, coaching, and assessment. Wimba Voice incorporates the use of threaded voice boards, voice-enabled email, embedded voice within course pages, integrated gradebooks, as well as live group discussions and debates, which increase the interaction and student engagement level of any online course. NOOKstudy

NOOKstudy is a standalone eTextbook reader application. Currently it is also integrated with Blackboard giving instructors and students the ability to purchase and distribute eTextbooks from within the Blackboard environment. The "Link to NOOKstudy" tool integrates NOOKstudy eTextbooks into a syllabus, course content or assignments quickly and easily by enabling instructors to create links to a chapter, section, or page of a book for the class. Camtasia Studio

Camtasia Studio is a powerful screen recording and video editing software that is very user-friendly. With Camtasia Studio’s flexible recording options, you can choose to capture full screen, window or region. Record your PowerPoint presentations, add in music tracks, microphone, your computer's audio, plus picture-in-picture with your video camera. Once you have your content recorded, polish it up, turn it into a professional screencast and share it with your students in a variety of formats. Student Response System

Student Response System using a TurningPoint audience response system, your PowerPoint presentations become powerful data collection and assessment tools that collect real-time audience responses and dramatically improve productivity and results for your class. Engage students, assess learning, gather data, or enhance presentations with TurningPoint response system. It integrates into Microsoft PowerPoint and allows students to participate in presentations or lectures by submitting responses to interactive questions using a ResponseCard keypad or other hand-held/computer devices.
