Spring 2015 ETS Exit Exam Dates

Dear Spring 2015 Prospective Graduating Senior:
 As a Jesse H. Jones School of Business prospective graduating senior for spring 2015, please take a few minutes to register for the Undergraduate ETS Exit Exam electronically, by selecting one of the testing dates below and replying to JHJOfficeDean@tsu.edu with your name and test date.  Please register as soon as possible to schedule the date of your preference.  Registration will be confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you register for a particular day in which all seats have been filled, you will be notified via email and instructed to select another testing day.  Registration will close Wednesday, April 1, 2015.

NOTE: Please be reminded that the UG ETS Exit Exam is offered every semester, and only graduating seniors should register for the ETS Exit Exam.  Please do not sign-up if you have not filed for May 2015  graduation. Graduation status will be confirmed prior to granting testing approval. Additionally, if you expected to complete your graduation requirements prior to spring 2015 and you were already tested, you DO NOT have to register to take the ETS Exit Exam again.

Test Day Requirements:
· Student must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to testing time. The ETS Exit Exam is a computer-timed test and group test administration will begin promptly at the time indicated, and no students will be allowed into the testing session afterwards.  Late arrivals will not be allowed to test and will be required to select another testing date.
· Student must be able to log-on to lab computers. If you have not used your log-on credentials this semester, you must contact the TSU Help Desk at 713-313-4357 prior to test day.
· Student must be prepared to provide a current email address.
· Student must bring a sharpened pencil.
1.      Is the Exit Exam required for graduation?
Yes, graduating business students (all majors) must complete this comprehensive exit exam prior to graduation (refer to the 2014-2016 University Bulletin, p.81).
2.      What is the purpose of the Exit Exam?
The ETS Exit Exam is a 120-multiple choice question test designed to measure a student’s knowledge and ability to apply significant facts, concepts, theories, and  analytical methods learned during the course of matriculation as an undergraduate  student in the JHJ  School of Business.  The questions represent a wide range of difficulty, and the test attempts to cover both depth and breath in assessing students’ levels of achievement.
3.      Are test-taking and/or other aids allowed?
          Scratch paper will be provided, but use of any of the following are strictly prohibited during testing:
    · Cell phones
                · Books, pamphlets or notes
                · Dictionaries (including electronic)
                · Compasses or protractors
                · Calculators (including calculator watches)
                · Rulers/Slide Rulers
                · Stereos or radios with headphones
                · Watch alarms (including those with flashing lights or alarm sounds)
