Find Books, Journals, Media & More
The TSU Library Learning Center is pleased to offer two discovery tools which can be used to search the catalog for books, ebooks and articles using a single Google-like interface. Search subject-specific databases directly for even more results.
The TSU Library Learning Center subscribes to over 200 databases. If you know the name of a specific database, you can go right to it using this box. A comprehensive listing can be found on the Databases A-Z page.
TSU's Most Popular Databases:
Thousands of subscription journals are available online through over 200 databases (and some by direct subscription). If you are looking for a specific ejournal title, use this listing to determine where it can be found in the databases.
Find an eJournal title:
Current print journals and other periodicals (including newspapers) can be found on the 3rd floor of the library. Print journal titles can be found in the library's catalog.
Find the library research guide for your discipline using the drop-down box. You may also consult the Databases by Subject listing which organizes the databases by discipline. Consult your Subject Librarian for further assistance.
WorldCat.org is a tool which allows users to search all libraries for books and other items which might be of interest. The Library can order it through ILL, issue TexShare cards for you to check it out yourself, or we might buy it if it is something other people might want.
The TSU Library Learning Center participates in TexShare, a program which allows currently enrolled TSU students to check books out from participating libraries. TexShare cards are issued by the library.
