Please be aware that if you call the reference desk with a question after 5 pm, you will most likely be speaking with a student worker and not a professional librarian. However, Reference questions after hours can be emailed to tucken@tsu.edu. We will respond that evening or the next day.

If you are having trouble locating materials on a topic, or need assistance accessing electronic resources, please call us at 713-313-7402 or send an email to the Reference Department.

The Reference Collection covers all disciplines offered in university instructional programs. The collection includes many general reference and specialized publications in print, but encompasses many more up-to-date reference titles in electronic format. Also housed in the reference area are "high demand" items (may vary from semester to semester) such as: professional test prep study guides, Norton anthologies, and MLA style manuals.
