Texas Southern University’s (TSU’s) 16th Annual Research Week Program is March 30-April 3, 2020. Research Week provides an avenue for promoting national and local awareness of the exciting research and outreach activities on the campus of TSU.

Precisely themed “Advancing Access and Equity Through Collaborative Research” the activities for the event will include visiting scientist, faculty, research staff and student oral and poster presentations, plenary sessions, workshops, and panel discussions. The program will also feature university research and outreach center exhibits. Hence, TSU faculty, staff and students who are actively involved in research are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

The abstract must be formatted in Microsoft Word with the title, authors and authors’ affiliations at the top, 250 words or less, single spaced, size 12 font. Additionally, the presenter(s) picture(s) must be uploaded in jpeg format.

***IMPERATIVE*** All interested research faculty, staff and students may submit abstracts via the Office of Research’s website (www.tsu.edu/research). From the home page, click on the “Research Week” button. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, February 28, 2020, 12 noon.

Abstract acceptance notices and further instructions will be sent out the week of March 2, 2020, via the registrant’s email.
