Northwest Houston is a vibrant and diverse segment of the Greater Houston area that has grown tremendously over the past decade. But until recently, there were no comprehensive higher education offerings in the region. That changed in fall 2010, when Texas Southern University and others partnered with Lone Star College System to offer higher level degreed programs. Currently, Texas Southern University offers the below degree programs to the residents of Northwest Houston at the new TSU Northwest campus:
