Ms. Renuka Nair
Director of Academic and Student Services
Ms. Renuka Nair serves as the Director of Academic and Student Services in the Thomas F. Freeman Honors College. Her principal role is to serve as an advocate for the Honors Scholars. In that capacity, she provides leadership, direction, and assistance to the Honors Scholars, with advisement, records management, as well as personal and/or career counseling. Ms. Nair assists with ensuring that scholars comply with the Honors College curriculum. She facilitates the Honors College Undergraduate Research and Internships Symposium at the end of each semester. She is responsible for assisting with the college assessment and strategic planning. Ms. Nair is the advisor for the Honors College Ambassadors Organization. She is also the instructor of the Introduction to Honors Freshman Seminar for the first-year Honors Scholars.
Ms. Nair holds a B. S. in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto, Canada, and an M.A. in Clinical Community Psychology from TSU.
