Welcome to TSU

One of the best ways to determine if a university is right for you is to visit the campus. TSU Recruitment and the International Student Initiative offer campus tours to provide students and their families a better understanding of campus life. The tours are run byTSU Ambassadors, who proudly show places of interest, while providing fun facts and insightful information about the student experience at TSU. An optional Informational Session focusing on TSU programs and admission requirements follows. Representatives from TSU will be visiting schools in Texas and around the world this fall.

Counselors or teachers who wish to arrange visits for a group of secondary schools or colleges, are encouraged to call TSU Office of Recruitment at (713) 313-7973. Our Campus Tour Coordinator will be pleased to help plan your visit, which will include a guided walking tour, information sessions and the opportunity to speak to current TSU students. Visits can be arranged on weekdays and groups are encouraged to register at least two weeks in advance. The Experience

During your guided walking tour, you will observe the bustling activity of our beautiful campus life of students chatting, participating in intramural, heading off to a lecture, studying on the campus grass and benches, and simply enjoying being on the TSU campus. While there is no doubt that TSU has one of the most popular campuses in the world, one of the beneficial aspects of a tour is the opportunity to talk to TSU students about their own experiences that the Ambassadors like Thomas Whitlock, 3rd year honor student, states, " TSU is hard work, but also having fun! The University is more than just books or buildings." If you are unable to join us for a guided campus tour, or would prefer to explore the TSU campus on your own, we have provided you with a interactive version of our Self-Guided Campus Tour.
