ROBERT WILLEMS brings more 25 years of experience in producing, directing and editing television, film, music video and commercials to his teaching at Texas Southern University. He is the owner of RW Production Inc. and Champion Entertainment Inc.
His recent films include a made-for-tv children’s show “The Costume Shop” starring Shelley Duvall, Stephen Baldwin and Haylee Duff. He is current working on a feature film, “The End of Alice. “ He has worked for major producing and distributing organizations including Court TV, Paramount TV, CJC Television, Bankston Entertainment, Peacock Films and MGM. He has been the producer/director of music videos for such artists as Kings X, Anthrax, Galatic Cowboys, Morgan Cryar, Petra and Farrell and Farrell.
He has also directed and produced more than 200 commercials and PSAs for local, regional and national clients.
