Ramon Manning

Ramon Manning is the founder and CEO of Partners Energy North America (PENA), a leading power and natural gas supplier. Partners Energy supplies commercial and industrial customers and assists in formulating plans and customizing solutions to manage energy costs and risk in today’s deregulated marketplace. 

A native Houstonian, Manning earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a Marketing concentration from Texas Southern University in 1997. While attending Texas Southern, Manning was a four-year football letterman and a member of the golf team.

Manning is a member of the Gulf Coast Power Association (GCPA), the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), Young Professionals in Energy (YPE), the National Energy Services Organization (NESO), the Greater Houston Partnership, and the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Manning is also a Leadership Houston graduate, Class XXII. 

Manning remains actively involved in business and charitable organizations in the Greater Houston community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System, Gulf Coast Rail District, The Children’s Assessment Center and The Friends of Emancipation Park. He also served as a trustee on the Board of the Houston Municipal Employee Pension System and was a member of the investment committee and currently serves as a trustee for the Texas Southern University Foundation. Manning has also served on the board of the Urban League Young Professionals, and is currently active with the Houston Area Urban League.
