Hello my name is Lauren Crusoe I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science at Southern Illinois University and currently pursing my Master of Science Degree in Human Performance. I am the Fitness Manager here at Texas Southern University Student Recreation Center; Metabolic Specialist and Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. I currently hold certifications for TRX Suspension Training, Red Cross CPR/AED, M3 Keiser & Metabolic Technician. My job is educate the "Healthy Way Of Life Living"



My name is Jennifer ‘Jiffy’ Morales. I am a veteran Personal trainer, Group exercise instructor, fitness and wellness coach, a licensed amateur boxer, as well as a boxing coach, a team leader and a physiology lab assistant. Fitness and nutrition is my passion as I have successfully proven innovative methods to help my clients and athletes reach their goals ranging from weight loss to flying like a butterfly and stinging like a bee. My abilities are limitless and my strengths in the gym are beyond believable. Some areas that I specialize in include strength and conditioning regimens, footwork and agility, speed and max interval training, Crossfit, plyometrics, TRX aerobics, anaerobics, and most importantly mental training with an emphasis on focus, motivation, and self-hypnosis. My hometown is Ashburn, Virginia; an area more commonly known as Northern Virginia located about 20 minutes outside of Washington D.C.  My major is Business Management, Class of Fall 2013.  My strengths in the gym are calisthenics, body weight training, and core training.  The greatest asset I will bring to the rec is discipline. My primary goals for the 2013-2014 year at TSU are to raise the vibration of the students and teach healthy living habits, whether nutrition or fitness; but of course, as a student, my main goal is to graduate from undergrad in Spring 2014, and return to school in the fall to obtain my masters in strength and conditioning.

My name is Alandrea Pfeifer and I am a senior from the schools of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences and the Barbra Jordan- Mickey Leeland School of Public Affairs. Fitness has always and will forever be the joy of my life. Going from playing basketball and winning state titles to exploring the entire aspect of a fit life has changed my life completely. I am now certified in Personal Training and Group Exercise. With one of my majors being psychology, a physical health as well as a healthy mental state of being is equally important to me. I am currently a Yoga Instructor and I look forward to instructing Yogalates here at Texas Southern University. I am ultimately here to help, motivate and learn. Help you get fit, motivate you to push forward, even through the pain and learn what helps make a person enjoy their life. I look forward to working with all my fellow Tigers, Faculty and Staff, and our surrounding community. Be blessed and remember if it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you.

About Me: For as long as I can remember I have always been active, playing sports, running and just enjoying life. Being an athlete introduced me to training at an early age. Weight, Speed, Agility, etc. training helped me on and off the playing field. I took this love of health and fitness to become a Health Coach and Fitness Instructor. My goal is to motivate, inspire, and educate others about the benefits of exercising and living a healthy lifestyle.  My numerous experiences have instilled in me the patience and understanding to work with diverse populations and customize workout plans to meet individual needs and achieve goals.  Health and fitness is more than just your appearance; exercising makes us feel better and live healthier. With patience and persistence, anyone can achieve realistic goals, including high self-esteem, confidence, and the body you desire. I strive to create a personal relationship with all my clients.  Exercise, nutrition, and determination are the keys to success.  I'm here to provide encouragement, confidence, motivation, and strength, to help you reach your fitness goals!

Edward Mendez I am a junior majoring in Health Studies at Texas Southern university. I am set to graduate spring 2015 and will continue with Physical Therapy.

I am also known as Lalo because it describes who I am. I use it as an acronym to Living Above Life’s Obstacles (L.A.L.O). Fitness is my lifestyle, I love it I love it. It’s my Passion, I don’t have to say it my actions, and my energy states it all. I believe that everyone can love it, everyone can succeed in accomplishing any goal in life whether is, fitness, work, relationship or spiritually. It all starts with a Vision, period. Hi, my name is Powell, Anthony. I am currently majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in networking and Political Science. I'm 25 years old and  health and wellness is a passion of mine. I'm a specialist with the Texas Army National Guard and a herbalife independent distributor.  I started my journey a year and a half ago so I know the feeling most beginners have.  my goal is to help you overcome the obstacles holding you back from your fitness goals and help you feel even better in your own skin. I am proud to be a pillar of support for my classmates, my  professors , and my community and I will work hard to help you.
