Congratulations on making the decision to return to college to complete your degree! We are eager to help you accomplish this goal.
Minimum Admission Criteria
- Students must have a minimum of 60 transferable credits of completed coursework
- Students must have a minimum combined GPA of 2.0 for coursework

Application to the degree programs in the College of Transdisciplinary Studies will vary depending on your student type. The various student types include:
- Undergraduate student (pursuing a Bachelor's degree)
- Readmit student (attended TSU at least 1 year or more ago)
- Readmit student (attended TSU at least 1 year or more ago and attended other institutions)
- Transfer student (never attended TSU)
- Graduate student (pursuing a Master's degree)
- New student (does not matter if you are new to TSU or a returning TSU student)
UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS
A. Readmit student (attended TSU at least 1 year or more ago)
- Complete the COTS Admission Application
- Receive feedback from COTS staff that you are approved to move forward with the TSU readmissions application
- Complete the TSU readmissions application
B. Readmit student (attended TSU at least 1 year or more ago AND attended other institutions)
- Complete the COTS Admission Application
- Receive feedback from COTS staff that you are approved to move forward with the TSU readmissions application
- Complete the TSU readmissions application
- Be prepared to upload unofficial transcripts from all the institutions you have attended
- Forward all official transcripts from each institution attended as noted below:
- Electronically through an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system, e.g. Speede/TRex, Parchment/Naviance, National Student Clearinghouse and Greenlight
- Mailed to:

C. Transfer student (never attended TSU)
- Complete the COTS Admission Application
- Receive feedback from COTS staff that you are approved to move forward with the TSU admissions application
- Complete the TSU Admission Application https://www.applytexas.org/
- Be prepared to upload unofficial transcripts from all the institutions you have attended
- Pay an application fee of $42
- Forward all official transcripts from each institution attended as noted below:
- Electronically through an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system, e.g. Speede/TRex, Parchment/Naviance, National Student Clearinghouse and Greenlight
- Mailed to:

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS
The College of Transdisciplinary Studies follows The Graduate School admissions process for entry into its graduate programs. Students pursing a graduate degree must apply for admissions through The Graduate School.
