The Work Study Program at Texas Southern University
The Work-Study Program offers eligible students a valuable way to meet their financial obligations to the university. This beneficial program not only helps reduce the need for student loans, leaving you with less debt, but also provides opportunities to gain valuable experiences and build your professional network.
Work-Study at TSU allows you to explore potential career paths while gaining practical experience. There are two types of work-study available: Federal Work-Study and State College Work-Study.
If your financial aid award letter indicates that you have been awarded federal or state college work-study, you will receive a notification about a mandatory orientation. This orientation will provide further details about your responsibilities as a work-study recipient.
