TSU Faculty Assembly – Policy & Shared Governance

The Faculty Assembly at Texas Southern University (TSU) is the official policy-making body representing faculty in shared governance. Comprised of instructional personnel at instructor rank or higher, including faculty-ranked librarians, the Assembly ensures active faculty participation in university decisions.

Policy & Decision-Making The Assembly makes recommendations to the Provost or University President for action or endorsement by the TSU Board of Regents. It also delegates responsibilities to the Faculty Senate, with all Senate decisions subject to Assembly review, endorsement, or repeal.
