Curriculum Vitae

Sharlette Kellum (Gilbert) earned her Ph.D is Juvenile Justice and lends it by way of being an Assistant Professor in the Administration of Justice Program at Texas Southern University. Dr. Kellum publications include: Aftercare when there is no aftercare: Policy solution and evaluation plan proposal and Television violence prevention versus juvenile violence prevention: Any connections in parental control? ,both in the Journal of Knowledge & Best Practices in Juvenile Justice and Psychology.

Dr. Kellum is currently the Faculty Senator for the Graduate School, Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs Tech Committee Member, TSU Admissions Committee Member and Administration of Justice Graduate Faculty Committee member.

She has numerous professional affiliations including: Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, African Criminology and Justice Association, Southwest Associations of Criminal Justice and a Member of the Board of Directors of S.T.R.I.D.E.S.
