Academic Resources
Communication students prepare for careers in business, journalism, music, film, television and entertainment through a hands-on education.
School of Communication students are involved in making films and videos, writing stories, creating websites, researching the complex global network of communication. They go to work for media companies, reporting and producing the news. They manage athletes and entertainers. They create their own businesses. They learn by doing.
Academic Advisors by Department
Advising is critical to staying on track for graduation. The School of Communication offers help both through faculty advising and the Office of Student Services. Faculty advisors can help students make critical choices about their classes and career paths. Every student should consult a faculty adviser.
