Our degree plan maps are advising tools designed to help you understand your path toward degree completion. These semester-by-semester visual guides outline a recommended course sequence for completing your undergraduate or graduate program within the anticipated timeframe.

Degree plan maps are intended to support academic planning and do not replace the official University Catalog or individualized academic advising. Students should meet regularly with their academic advisor to review degree requirements, monitor progress, and make informed decisions about their academic plan.

First Year Advising

The Enrollment and Completion Advisors at Texas Southern University provide first-year students with the guidance, support, and resources needed to successfully transition to college and achieve their academic goals.

Transfer Services

Honor Students

The Thomas F. Freeman Honors College prepares TSU students to become scholars, leaders, and engaged citizens through enhanced academic experiences, mentorship opportunities, and programs that support personal and professional growth.

TRIO Student Support

The TRIO Program provides academic support and non-cognitive assistance designed to increase low income, first generation college student’s retention and graduation rate of from a post-secondary program of study.
