HOW TO APPLY FOR STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
  1. Visit TSU Handshake to view available Campus Recreation positions.
  2. Select your preferred position and complete the application.
  3. Email your current class schedule to txsucampusrec@tsu.edu. Include your name and position in the subject line.

Student Employment Requirements

  • Be a currently enrolled TSU student.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to qualify for an interview.
  • Attend the required employment interest meeting.
  • Student positions are offered on a semester basis.

Graduate Assistantships

Build your professional experience while contributing to the TSU Campus Recreation community. Graduate assistantships offer hands-on opportunities to support programs, services, student staff, and department initiatives.

Areas include: Fitness & Wellness and Business & Auxiliary Services. All graduate assistants participate in professional development, including completing a research project and submitting a proposal to present at a professional conference.
