Banner 3rd party Integration & Support
The Office of Information Technology provides support to several third-party Banner-integrated tools. Below is a listing of each of those tools and a brief description of their use.
Argos is a reporting tool that effectively meets reporting needs from simple ad hoc queries to advanced dashboards. Argos offers the University the lowest total cost of ownership with its enterprise license allowing for an unlimited number of users, database types and connections. It has been selected as the standard reporting tool for the University.
Audience:
University administrative departments.
Access:
Administrative staff must submit an approved application to gain access to respective
Banner modules. Approval must be granted by each designated module owner.

The Banner Document Management Suite (BDM) contains a set of imagining and document management solutions that integrate seamlessly with the Banner product. It allows handling of all imaging, data management and document storage needs.

BossCars is a custom parking management software package with a built-in interface that integrates parking permits and citations with Oracle-based ERP systems such as Banner. The baseline product is currently in Production. The TouchNet MarketPlace interface with Bosscars has also been successfully implemented in Production.

University Personnel and University Students
Access:
University students gain to Bosscars by accessing their MyTSUweb portal. The Parking
Permits and Citations (Bosscars) link may be found under the Parking channel. Single
sign-on to Bosscars is available to students via the MyTSUweb portal.
A faculty or staff member may access Bosscars by accessing their MyTSUweb self-service portal. Bosscars has its own tab labeled Parking Permits.

Ellucian Degree Works is an online set of academic planning tools that help students and advisors see what courses and requirements students need to graduate. The product integrates with the University’s student information system (Banner) and records interactions with students, so advisor can see what a student sees. This clarity helps students make better decisions with confidence.
Audience:
University Students and Advisors
Access:
University students gain to Degree Works by accessing their MyTSUweb portal. The Degree
Works link may be found under the Student Records channel. Single sign-on to Degree
Works is available to students via the MyTSUweb portal.
A faculty or staff advisor may access Degree Works by accessing their MyTSUweb self-service
portal. Degree Works is one of the options listed under the Faculty Services tab.

The ISSM system utilized by the Universities’ International Admissions Office maintains SEVIS governmental compliance for international students.
