Housing Facilities are not included in the campus tour experience. However, you can explore our residential living spaces through our Virtual Housing Tour Portal.
Supervision on Campus
Visiting groups must provide an adequate number of chaperones and remain together at all times while on campus. Chaperones are responsible for supervising students, maintaining appropriate conduct, and ensuring compliance with university expectations. This includes limiting the use of cell phones and electronic devices during tours and presentations, as well as ensuring all personal items are collected before departure. Visiting groups and organizations are financially responsible for any damage to Texas Southern University property incurred during their visit.
Weather Advisory
Guests are encouraged to check the weather prior to arrival. Campus tours and events may be adjusted or canceled due to university-issued weather advisories. All registered guests will be notified of any changes in advance. For summer visits, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes, light clothing, sunscreen, and bringing a hat or umbrella if needed.
Tour School Excuses
School excuses or absentee notes are only provided to students with a confirmed registration on file and will be emailed following event check-in.
Campus Tour Calendar
The campus tour and events calendar is based on the university’s academic schedule, campus events, and staff availability. Tours are offered only on the dates listed on the calendar. While we strive to accommodate all requests, some may be declined due to staffing limitations or scheduling conflicts.
