Election
Greetings Fellow Tigers,
I wish to welcome you to another great election year at Texas Southern University. I pray everyone is doing well as it pertains to their academics and their personal life in general. I wish to provide an update as it pertains this semester’s elections. Per usual, we have certain elections that are held each semester. The first election of the Fall semester, which has already been conducted, is to elect the Miss Freshman and Mr. Freshman royal court representatives.
Following, the election commission is tasked to hold elections for the class senators. The important dates and times that you should be knowledgeable of if you are interested are presented in the subsequent page.
Please take note of the mandatory dates. If you are not present (or will not be able to attend), you MUST notify the election commission 24 hours prior to the date of the event for further instructions. If you neglect to do so, you risk not being able to participate in this election. If you wish to get a head start on the application, scan the QR code at the bottom of this page! You will receive further instructions on how to vote closer to the election time.
Please note, you will have to use your student email or at least forward your student email to your personal email that you check daily. Lastly, we have a new website in the making! We are tentatively planning to debut the finished product by the upcoming election code meeting.
For any questions, send them via email to tsuelect@tsu.edu. Goodluck Ijezie-Desbois, PharmD Candidate Chief Election Commissioner Election Commission Team: A. Bell, R. Hersi, B. Melton, J. Robinson Student Government Association
