Tiger Tutoring Services
The Tiger Advising and Support Office provides student-centered services and activities that actively support Texas Southern University’s mission to provide innovative and collaborative programs to the diverse student population. As a department, we promote the development of the development of the whole student academically, intellectually, and socially. Also offered is a comprehensive set of opportunities and strategic interventions that are designed to improve retention and educational outcomes at TSU. Students can utilize a network of academic services, have access to supportive and experienced advisors, and participate in activities designed to assist them in strengthening their academic skill set and become job ready.
Remember, peer tutors are students like you! They understand your challenges and they are eager to help you learn.

Meet Our Tiger Tutoring Ambassadors
Our Tiger Tutoring Ambassadors are student tutors who provide academic support to students across Texas Southern University. They are committed to helping their fellow Tigers strengthen their understanding of course content, develop effective learning strategies, build academic confidence, and work toward their educational goals. More than tutors, our Tiger Tutoring Ambassadors serve as peer leaders and academic success partners, helping create a supportive learning environment where every Tiger has the opportunity to succeed.
